Can I change my payment frequency?

Yes, but only at renewal. We’ll notify you well in advance so you have time to make any updates. Changes to your payment plan will need to be made at least 15 days before your renewal date (your emailed renewal notification will provide the exact date you have until to make this change). Payment options are catered based on the information provided to us – typically, our options are to pay monthly or annually.

At renewal, here’s how to change your payment plan via your Sonnet account:

  1. Log in and select View your renewed policy details for the renewal policy you’d like to update.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Click Change beside your payment plan. The option to change your payment frequency will become available 30 days before your renewal date. You can change your payment plan up to 15 days before your policy is set to renew.
  4. Select Update.

Heads up! You can only change your payment frequency once at renewal – you will not be able to switch your payment plan again for this policy term. Don’t worry, you will still be able to change your payment method.
