If you’re purchasing home insurance, auto insurance or both, the steps are a little different. In general, here’s what you’ll need to have ready:
- Your coverage start date. Before purchasing your policy, ensure the coverage start date lines up with when you need insurance. Remember, you can’t change the coverage start date after purchase.
- Your phone: For security, you’ll need your phone to complete our two-step verification. You’ll complete this process when logging in to your account.
- The name and mailing address of your leasing, financing or mortgage company (if applicable). We require these details to complete your purchase, and it’s important that they are accurate from the start of your policy.
- The payment method to purchase your policy. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) and Visa or Mastercard Debit.
