We do allow someone else (like a friend or family member) to be your Additional Contact for your claim, but you would have to provide us with consent first. You can add them during the claim reporting process on the ‘Start your claim’ page.
Your Additional Contact has access to limited information. They can receive emails and/or documents related to this claim only. What they can’t do is accept settlement or sign documents on your behalf – the only person who can do this is you, as the policy holder. We wouldn’t contact them for any other reason related to your Sonnet Insurance policy or policies.
