My personal items were lost or damaged. What information do I need to give you about my stuff when I report my home insurance claim?

Start tracking any items that have been lost or damaged in a detailed list so you can review it with your Claims Professional. In order to be properly compensated, we’ll need as much information as you can provide us, including:

• Full description of each item
• Age of item
• Purchase location
• Original value when you bought it

You can also provide us with documentation such as original receipts, manuals, appraisals and photos, if you have them.
