How do I add, edit, or remove my mortgage information?

Need to update your mortgage company’s details? You can make this quick update through your Sonnet account.

Heads up! It’s important that your mortgage company’s name and address are correct on your policy. Take the time to make sure you have the right details.

  1. Log in to your account and select your home policy.
  2. Head over to the Mortgage Info tab.
  3. To add a mortgage company, select Add a mortgage. Enter in your mortgage company’s name and address. Click Add.

    To update your mortgage company’s address, click Edit under their details. Make any necessary changes, and click Save. (If your mortgage company’s name needs updating, you’ll need to remove and re-add them to your policy.)

    To remove a mortgage company, click the X in the top right-hand corner beside their name. We’ll send a notice to your mortgage company to let them know that they’ve been removed.

Your policy documents will update to reflect the new information. If your mortgage company needs proof of insurance, you’ll be able to download this right from your account. It’s up to you to provide them with this documentation. Proof of insurance won’t be mailed out when your mortgage company is added to your policy.
