What ISN'T covered by my auto insurance policy?

If you use your vehicle to carry explosives (yikes!) or radioactive material, we won’t provide you with coverage. There’s also no coverage under your policy if you use your vehicle to make deliveries for a business, as an emergency vehicle, taxicab (that includes Uber), bus or for sightseeing tours – as in paid sightseeing tours… it’s okay to show your out-of-town cousins the local sites.

Here are some examples of loss or damage that may not be covered:

  • Tires
  • Mechanical breakdown
  • Rusting
  • Corrosion
  • Freezing
  • General wear and tear

Be sure to check your policy for the full list of what is and isn’t covered.
