Yes. At Sonnet, we do allow unlicensed car owners in Alberta to purchase a car insurance policy. This is because if you own a vehicle, you have to be the one who buys the insurance for it. Keep in mind that the car will need to be garaged (or kept) where you, as the owner, live. You’ll also need at least one primary licensed driver listed on the policy.
