It's true, things are changing. We've made the difficult decision to no longer offer auto insurance in Alberta. But don't worry, we're here to help make this transition as smooth as possible.

If you live in Alberta, here’s how to cancel your policy:

1. Log in to your Sonnet account.
2. Select the policy you’d like to cancel. 
3. Click Edit policy.
4. Select Cancel policy and Continue.
5. Select a cancellation date (note: we can't backdate your cancellation). We’ll also ask why you’re cancelling.
6. Follow the instructions to cancel your policy. 


If you would like to stop your policy from renewing automatically, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Sonnet account.
2. Click View your renewed policy details under your current policy to select the one you'd like to cancel.
3. Click Edit policy.
4. Select Cancel policy and Continue.
5. Pick your policy’s renewal date as the cancellation date. We’ll also ask why you’re cancelling.
6. Follow the instructions to cancel your policy.
