Does Sonnet have a mobile app?

Yes, the Sonnet Insurance app is available to all customers on both iOS and Android devices. It’s a convenient way to access key policy information from anywhere, anytime.

To download the Sonnet Insurance app, search for it on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play store app (Android).

What you can do in the app:

Edit policy details and coverages
Manage your payments
Download documents like eslips and proof of insurance
Add a group and affinity discount
Explore personalized offers
Review policy renewals
Submit digital claims
Ask questions about coverages, billing and more

Important! The app is also an essential part of our Sonnet Shift program. Customers who enroll in Shift must download the app so it can track your driving behaviour. Learn more about Sonnet Shift.

Bundling discount reflects the best possible savings a customer could receive by bundling their home and auto coverage. Depending on your quote details, you may not be eligible for a discount.

Sonnet Pet is distributed under a distribution network agreement by Sonnet Insurance Company and is underwritten by Petline Insurance Company. Products are available to residents of B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Québec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and P.E.I. and provide coverage to eligible pets. All coverage described is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions contained in our Policy Wordings. In the event of a discrepancy, your policy wording governs.

*Complimentary one-year membership to TELUS Health Virtual Care is available to the primary named insured on a Sonnet property or auto policy. Offer is limited to one Sonnet account with at least one active home or auto insurance policy. The primary named insured’s partner, spouse and any dependents under the age of twenty-six may also use the TELUS Virtual Health Care membership. Offer does not extend to the purchase of a Sonnet Pet Insurance policy. Offer is not available to residents of New Brunswick. Note that controlled substances cannot be prescribed by TELUS Health Virtual Care.

Sonnet Insurance offers online home and auto insurance to residents of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and P.E.I. In B.C. and Alberta we offer online home insurance. Unfortunately, we’re not able to service Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador and the territories, or Alberta or B.C. auto insurance customers at this time.

Savings amount of over 25% amount is for customers who bundle their home and auto insurance, are deemed to be experienced drivers with clean driving records as per Sonnet’s underwriting rules, and who qualify for Canadian university alumni, conviction-free, multi-vehicle and winter tires discounts, where available. Savings amount is not available to residents of BC and AB as Sonnet does not offer auto insurance in those provinces. Savings amounts are not guaranteed and will depend upon each individual’s insurance profile.

Savings amount is based on survey responses of 4,246 customers who purchased an auto insurance policy with Sonnet Insurance Company between February 2024 and February 2026 in Ontario. 53% of survey respondents indicated that their monthly price with Sonnet was lower than what they were paying previously. On average, the Sonnet price was $722 lower per year for respondents who indicated they were saving. Savings amounts are not guaranteed and will depend upon each individual’s insurance profile.

Savings amount is based on survey responses of 1,464 customers who purchased either home insurance or an auto insurance policy in Quebec with Sonnet Insurance Company between February 2024 and February 2026. 888 survey respondents indicated that their monthly price with Sonnet was lower than what they were paying previously. On average, the Sonnet price was $363 lower per year for home and $507 lower per year for auto for respondents who indicated they were saving. Savings amounts are not guaranteed and will depend upon each individual’s insurance profile.

Savings amount is based on survey responses of 732 customers who purchased a home insurance policy with Sonnet Insurance Company between February 2024 and February 2026. 27% of survey respondents indicated that their monthly price with Sonnet was lower than what they were paying previously. On average, the Sonnet price was $356 lower per year for respondents who indicated they were saving. Savings amounts are not guaranteed and will depend upon each individual’s insurance profile.

On average, the Sonnet price was $356 lower per year for home and $722 lower per year for auto for respondents who indicated they were saving.
