We chatted with Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco about his game and realized that while soccer and insurance may seem fields apart, there are a few things we have in common…
As professional players, we don’t get much free time, so we try to stay prepared all year round. We train every day in the morning for about an hour or so. Before we train I always go into the gym to warm up and after training I work on things like free kicks, do some stretching and get treatment to help with recovery.”
Stuff happens – it’s why you’ve got insurance. Knowing you’re protected is one thing, but being prepared so you can avoid potential problems is even better. Just like Sebastian regularly works to maintain his game, we’re here to help you keep your home and car in tip top shape. Check out a few of our tips:
The most important aspect of soccer is having a well-balanced team with everyone buying into a collective goal to play for each other. No single person is bigger than the team. Plus, the support of our fans really makes playing for the Toronto FC unique. Compared to other teams, we have one of the best group of fans – it doesn’t matter if we’re playing at home or away, they’re here for us no matter what.”
Like Giovinco says, knowing that you’ve got a team you can trust and support when you need it is one of the most important things – and insurance is no different. Check out how our customer care and claims teams work 24/7 to make sure you’re covered and get you back to good.
No matter what obstacle or setback is thrown our way, I try to stay positive. I know that every single player on the team is ready to push and persevere to find a solution.”
If you haven’t noticed, we firmly believe in protecting not just your stuff but also your optimism, so you can worry less and live more. Check out some of the ways we’re bringing this to life:
