How to enroll for your TELUS Health Virtual Care membership

All it takes is a few easy steps to buy your home and car insurance online and get a complimentary year of virtual healthcare.

Step 1: Click ‘Get a Quote’ anywhere on our website. You can sign up for the TELUS Health Virtual Care offer whether you’re just buying home or auto insurance, or bundling to save money.

Step 2: Sign up for savings. If you’re eligible for either a Group discount or a University or College Alumni discount, you can add it during this stage.

Step 3: Enter your personal details and choose your coverages. We’ll need your address, name, and date of birth. We also need other vital pieces of info like your VIN if you’re getting a quote for car insurance.

Step 4: Accept the TELUS offer. Once you’ve reached the ‘Your payment options’ page, make sure you opt in to get your complimentary year of TELUS Health Virtual Care and TELUS Health Virtual Pharmacy. If you don’t accept, you won’t get the offer! Then, buy your policy.

Step 5: Congrats – you’re insured! Within 10 days, you’ll receive an activation email from TELUS Health to get started on your virtual healthcare journey.

How do I get a complimentary TELUS Health Virtual Care membership through Sonnet?

It’s easy! All our new customers get a one-year complimentary membership to TELUS Health Virtual Care when they purchase a Sonnet policy. Just get a home, auto, tenant, condo, or bundled quote, and when you’re ready to buy, check the ‘Claim your special offer’ box on the Purchase Page.

Within 10 days of purchasing your new Sonnet policy, you’ll receive an activation email from TELUS Health to get started on your virtual healthcare journey. In the email, there will be a button to click that directs you to the enrollment form to set up your account – it’s as simple as that!

I bought more than one policy with Sonnet. How many TELUS Health Virtual Care memberships can I get?

The complimentary one-year membership to is TELUS Health Virtual Care offer is limited to one per Sonnet account, and at least one active home or auto insurance policy. But it’s not just for you, as the account holder. We’ve got good news – your family’s included too! Your partner, spouse and kids or dependents under the age of 26 can also use the membership.

Can I get still get a group discount with a TELUS Health Virtual Care membership?

Yes! University and College alumni and members of eligible employers, groups or associations can get a TELUS Health Virtual Care membership and still be eligible for a group discount! Just add your discount at the start of your quote, and then be sure to check the “Claim your special offer” box at purchase to ensure you’re signed up for the TELUS Health Virtual Care membership.

I didn’t get an activation email for TELUS Health Virtual Care – what should I do?

It can take up to 10 days to receive your TELUS Health Virtual Care activation email. Be sure to check your junk/spam folder to make sure it’s not there!
