Why can’t you find my address during a quote?

We understand it’s frustrating when we can’t find your address during a quote. Here are a few common reasons this can happen:  

  • Your street name, type or postal code does not match our system
  • You entered a mailing address or PO Box instead of your street address
  • Your address is new or not in our system yet
  • Your address is in a rural or remote area 
     

Here are some ways you can try and solve the issue:  

  • Ensure you’re not using a PO Box
  • Use digits for numbered streets and apartment or condo unit numbers 
    • Example: 8 STREET UNIT 5 
  • Enter your unit number after your street address 
  • Confirm the spelling, postal code and street type (St, Ave, Rd) 
  • For auto quotes, enter the address that appears on your driver's license 
  • Check your address on Canada Post and re-enter it exactly as shown 
  • Try entering your address without the unit number first, then add it after

Why can’t I use a PO Box?  

We need a residential street address to calculate and bind your quote accurately. If you can’t receive mail at your location and would like to use a PO Box for your mailing address, you can contact us after purchasing to update it.
