Why didn’t my home policy renew?

Each year at renewal, we review and update all your information, then re-evaluate your risk. There are many factors that Sonnet uses to determine if we have coverage that can meet your needs. Based on this, we may be unable to renew your policy. Here are some factors that could impact your renewal:

  • Annual changes to underwriting rules
  • Claims history
  • Changes to your home that are no longer covered
  • Change in credit score
